SLIP'20 -- Update-info
Version 8.0e (2023)
- Optimization: Calculations that involve many ground-type polygons with many vertices run faster.
- Swiss10-DTV-converter: new coefficients for SS-50 (as published by EMPA+BAFU in [Swi10Knv23], Tab. 4.2).
- Cleanup: a new parameter allows you to select closed polygons with a specified orientation.
- QSI: import extended (for details, see documentation-topic QSI Import).
- The short code displayed by the calculation-progress-bar (used algorithms and some of their most relevant parameters) has been extended; for details, see topic Selection-calculation.
- Diverse improvements and optimizations.
Version 8.0d (2023)
- All Swiss10-plus vehicles are now included (see new emission-input options for road-elements).
- New day and night corrections for road-elements.
- Ground-type extended: mixed grounds included.
- Faster loading and saving of selections and projects.
- Import: several extensions and improvements.
- Diverse improvements and optimizations.
- Program-documentation extended. In particular, note that, in the context of the model SonRoad18, a certain method/parameterization (incl. that of ISO-9613, which is used for the calculation of sound-propagation) may be "officially" preferred or even mandatory. Please check with the relevant authorities if a particular method/parameterization is prescribed for official calculation tasks. See also note and references in Topic SonRoad18.
Version 8.0c (2021)
- Model SonRoad18:
- The CPX-interface (which uses models for 50 and 80 km/h acc. to [SRd18w21]) is now integrated in the emission-edition form (see field Pavement). This allows you to use a CPX measurement to specify the pavement (the inputted spectrum is automatically converted into a rolling-noise pav.-correction).
- It is now possible to directly input spectral rolling-noise pav.-corrections (see field Pavement in the emission-edition form).
- The front-end is now 64-bit, which allows you to create considerably bigger projects. Also, most functionality should run ~10% faster.
Version 8.0b (2021)
- Model SonRoad18:
- Recent "official" developments (acc. to [SRd18w21]) have been integrated:
- New standard "KB-pavements" (standard pavement corr. spectra). For model SonRoad18, when modelling a "neutral" pavement, avoid using a model-reference pavement; instead, consider using a KB+0 pavement.
- New version of the Swiss10-converter.
- The air-temperatures for the calculation of emissions is now configurable (the same settings are used for emision and propagation).
- Elements can now have extended attributes (these can be freely defined by the user at the element-instance level).
- Shape export extended: in particular, extended attributes can be exported.
- Numerous other improvements.
Version 8.0a (2020)
- Windows 10, 8, 7 compatible.
- SonRoad18 included.
- ISO-9613: meteorological effects can be considered.
- ISO-9613: temperature and humidity can be specified for each day-period.
- Faster multicore calculation.
- Bigger projects supported.
- Numerous other improvements
